    Your Local Molonglo Valley Wreckers

Molonglo Valley is one of Canberra's fastest-growing corridors, and we cover every new estate in Coombs, Wright, Denman Prospect and Whitlam. If your street is brand new or not yet on every map, just share your address or a pin drop when you book.

We travel John Gorton Drive daily, so access to the whole valley is quick regardless of which stage of the development you're in. We buy all makes and models, any condition, and pay before we tow.

We service all Molonglo Valley suburbs:

    • Coombs & Wright
    • Denman Prospect
    • Whitlam
    • Strathnairn

    Canberra’s Newest Streets

Molonglo Valley -- Coombs, Wright, Denman Prospect and Whitlam -- is the newest part of Canberra, and much of it is still being built. That creates a specific set of access problems that older suburbs simply do not have.

Streets that are still construction sites

Parts of Whitlam and Denman Prospect have active building work, which means skip bins, delivery trucks, temporary fencing and occasional road closures on streets that are otherwise narrow to begin with.

We plan around it, but a construction blockage is the one thing that can genuinely stop a truck reaching an address. If there is work happening on your street, mentioning it when you book saves a wasted trip for both of us.

    Terrace housing and rear lanes

Coombs and Wright were designed at higher density than most of Canberra, with terrace-style dwellings, small frontages and garages accessed from rear lanes. Some of those lanes are genuinely tight for a tilt tray.

Where the lane is too narrow, we load from the nearest street frontage instead and move the car out to the truck. It adds a few minutes and nothing to your cost, but the driver needs to know in advance which approach to plan for.

Newer suburb, but not always newer cars

It is easy to assume a new suburb means new vehicles, and it is often true. But we are also called out to Molonglo regularly for the opposite: the older car that came along with the move and then sat, the first car that has been superseded, or a vehicle a household simply has no room for on a compact block.

Those are exactly the cars we buy. Condition genuinely does not matter -- we quote on what the vehicle is, not on whether it still runs.

Molonglo Valley Cash for Cars FAQs

We just moved into Denman Prospect or Whitlam - is our street covered yet?

Yes. Molonglo Valley grows fast and we update our coverage constantly, so new streets in Coombs, Wright, Denman Prospect and Whitlam are all included. Just send a pin drop if your address isn't mapped yet.

Do you buy cars from a construction or new-build property in the valley?

Yes, we regularly collect from properties still under construction or recently handed over. Just let us know about any site access requirements when you book.

How far out is Molonglo Valley for your trucks?

Not far at all. We use John Gorton Drive daily, so Molonglo Valley is a normal part of our Canberra-wide run, not a special trip.
