Call Now: 0409 296 758We provide dedicated car disposal in Weston Creek, from the shops at Cooleman Court to quiet residential streets in Duffy and Chapman. Our trucks are familiar with the whole valley, including the streets around Mount Stromlo Forest Park.
Access via Streeton Drive and Namatjira Drive keeps our response times fast for Rivett, Holder, Stirling and Waramanga. We buy every make and model, running or not, and pay before we tow.
Weston Creek is a compact district of seven suburbs west of the Molonglo, and it has a housing mix you will not find anywhere else in Canberra -- the direct result of the 2003 bushfires.
Duffy, Chapman and parts of Holder and Rivett lost a great many homes in the January 2003 bushfires and were rebuilt through the mid-2000s. A lot of households replaced everything at once in those years, cars included, and those replacement vehicles are now around twenty years old.
That produces a distinct wave of end-of-life cars through this district: mid-2000s sedans and wagons, bought new by the same owner, kept a long time, and now worth less than the repair they need. Long ownership usually means good history, and that is worth something.
Three things move the number on a Weston Creek car, and none of them is where it is parked. First, whether it is complete -- an engine, gearbox, wheels, glass and interior still in place are worth far more than the same car after parts have been removed. Second, the make and model, because common vehicles have parts that sell quickly. Third, whether it runs, which is a bonus rather than a requirement.
What does not matter: rust, failed registration, hail damage, a dead battery, or how long it has been sitting. If you are unsure whether something counts against you, say it on the phone rather than tidying the car up first.
Weston Creek sits on the western side of the city, which makes it one of the longer runs to our Hume depot. It makes no difference to what we pay you or to the free tow, but it does mean we usually batch Weston Creek collections into the same run where we can.
In practice that means we may offer you a choice of two windows rather than any time you like. If you need a specific time, say so -- we will work to it.

Yes, every suburb from Duffy through to Waramanga and Stirling is part of our regular service area, with no extra call-out fee for being further from Civic.
Absolutely. We can arrange a specific pickup time that works around shopping centre parking rules or building management, and tow it away the same day if needed.
Yes, exposure, rust and panel damage don't put us off. We buy for parts and scrap value, so cosmetic condition doesn't need to be good.
