It is a business retiring three work utes, a workshop clearing vehicles customers never came back for, a rental or trades fleet cycling stock out, or an estate with more than one car to deal with.
Those sales have different requirements, and this page is about how we handle them. If you are an individual selling one car you still drive, selling privately versus selling to us is the more useful comparison.
We buy company-owned and ABN-registered vehicles and can invoice appropriately for your records. Work utes, vans, light commercials and passenger fleet vehicles are all in scope, in any condition — the high-kilometre trade ute at the end of its life is very much our normal purchase.
Where there are several vehicles at one site we collect them in a single visit rather than making you coordinate multiple bookings. For larger groups we can attend on a date that suits your operations, including outside business hours if that is less disruptive.
Repairers accumulate vehicles: cars abandoned after a quote was declined, insurance write-offs left behind, trade-ins that turned out to be uneconomic to retail. They occupy space that could be earning.
We will take them as a group. The one requirement is the same as it is everywhere — you need to be able to establish the right to sell each vehicle. For cars left with a repairer there is a proper statutory process for that, and we cannot substitute for it. If the paperwork is in order we will handle the rest.
Estates frequently involve two or three cars: the daily vehicle, a second car, and something in a shed that has not moved in twenty years. Dealing with them one at a time is exhausting at a point when nobody has spare energy.
We can assess and collect them together. Probate, letters of administration or an executor letter is generally what we need to proceed, and we are happy to talk through what you have before committing to anything.
Not everything we buy is scrap. Where a vehicle still has real market value — late model, moderate kilometres, sound mechanically — it is assessed on that basis rather than on its weight, because it will be resold rather than dismantled.
We will tell you frankly which category your vehicle falls into. If we think you would do materially better retailing it yourself, we will say so. That is not a sales technique; a seller who feels short-changed is not worth the margin.
Send us a list — make, model, year, rough condition and whether each one drives. We will come back with a figure for the group. If it works, we agree a collection date, attend the site, pay on the day, and issue documentation for every vehicle. Registration cancellation stays with you, and we will set out what needs lodging for each one.

No, you do not. Since we are a licensed motor vehicle dealer buying cars for wrecking or resale, we purchase them "as-is". This saves you the time and money of getting an inspection.
We often offer same-day service! If you call us in the morning, we can usually collect your vehicle by the afternoon. We can also schedule a specific time that works for you.
The value depends on the make, model, weight, and condition of the vehicle. We offer competitive rates based on current metal prices and parts demand. Call us for a free quote!
Yes. Unregistered, written-off, flood or hail damaged, and vehicles that don’t start are all accepted. We handle the ownership transfer paperwork and can advise on cancelling registration, so there’s nothing extra for you to organise.
It depends on the payout figure owing versus the value of the car. Give us a call and we’ll talk through your specific situation — in many cases the finance needs to be settled as part of the sale, and we can explain exactly how that works before you commit to anything.
Not usually. We can talk you through reporting missing plates when we arrange the ownership transfer, so it doesn’t hold up the sale or leave you exposed to fines or tolls on plates that are no longer on the car.
This comes up often with inherited vehicles or family cars. If you’re the executor of an estate or otherwise legally authorised to sell the vehicle, we can complete the sale — just mention your situation when you call so we can explain exactly what’s needed.
Yes, we regularly collect multiple vehicles from the same property in one visit — a common scenario for deceased estates, business fleets, or a household clearing out several old cars at once. Let us know how many when you call so we can plan the pickup properly.
Not at all. Every quote is free and obligation-free. You’re welcome to compare it against other offers before deciding, and there’s no pressure or cost involved in simply asking what your car is worth.
A pure scrap metal price only accounts for the weight of the steel. We factor in reusable parts, make and model demand, and current market conditions as well, which is usually why our offer comes in higher than a straight per-tonne scrap price — plus we come to you and tow it for free.
Every ACT district — Belconnen, Gungahlin, Tuggeranong, Woden Valley, Inner North, Inner South, Weston Creek and Molonglo Valley — plus Queanbeyan and the surrounding NSW region. If you’re unsure whether your specific street is covered, just give us a call; the answer is almost always yes.
Our focus is passenger cars, SUVs, utes, and vans, including business and fleet vehicles. If you have something outside that range, give us a call and we’ll let you know honestly whether it’s something we can help with.
